Leak reveals iPhone Fold 2026 price and specs: A $2,400 powerhouse

New leaks have surfaced regarding Apple's highly anticipated foldable iPhone, tentatively dubbed the 'iPhone Fold'. Reports indicate a September 2026 release with a starting price of $2,400, positioning it as the most premium device in Apple's lineup.
According to supply chain analysts, the device will feature a revolutionary hinge mechanism that eliminates the visible crease found in competitors' devices. The internal display is rumored to be a massive 8-inch OLED panel with ProMotion technology, while the external cover display will match the dimensions of the iPhone 17 Pro.
Touch ID Returns
One of the most surprising details is the potential return of Touch ID, integrated into the power button alongside Face ID. This dual-biometric approach aims to provide flexibility for users in various scenarios.
"Apple has been perfecting this technology for over five years," says tech analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. "They weren't willing to release a foldable until the durability matched their rigid phones."
